Waterworks Flats
Missoula, MT
In Missoula’s historic Northside neighborhood, the goal was to develop a 12-unit multifamily building on an infill lot. Addressing neighborhood concerns about recent multifamily projects, the design prioritized avoiding the appearance of a modern ‘tin box.’ Instead, the project was thoughtfully integrated into the neighborhood fabric by creating two distinct six-unit complementary volumes. These featured single-family-style porches and sloping dormer-style roofs, blending seamlessly with the area's architectural character.
Project Highlights:
-Sustainability: First apartment complex in Missoula with EV charging stations for residents.
-Community Engagement: Donating prior house materials to Home Resource.
-Energy Efficiency: Features include additional insulation with thermal breaks and high-efficiency air source heat pumps.
-Character: Classic design elements that blend with the historical essence of the neighborhood.

Sunshine Health is a direct primary care clinic. Affari provided full architecture and interior design services to bring this clinic's dream to life. The space features a custom designed reception desk, wall coverings, tile accents and light fixtures. By focusing on the little details, we created a truly elegant space for patients and providers alike.

Jonathan Hiser
Jonathan is a Licensed Architect in the states of Virginia and Montana. He has 11 years of experience in the architectural field. With a strong background in commercial, residential, and health care architecture, Jonathan brings both small and large project experience, from start to finish of a design project.

Drew Webb
Drew embodies servant leadership by fostering autonomy, providing ongoing support to his team, and ensuring that his employees have everything they need to be successful.
Over the last twelve years, Drew has carefully cultivated a team of creatives, dreamers, hustlers, and strategists that work collaboratively to deliver exceptional results to our clients. With his Masters in Administration, and history leading organizations, companies, and team in success, he strives to bring that to every client.
When Drew’s not working, you’ll find him hitting the pavement and logging some serious mileage on his early morning runs. He also enjoys playing with his rambunctious pups along the Virginia Beach coastline with his spouse.

He loves a strategy session and enjoys nothing more than always asking the right questions to ensure our clients are getting the best possible value. Areas of expertise include strategic partnerships, sales, creative marketing, business and product development.
When not chatting with our clients, Joel enjoys checking out new local restaurants and cooling off at Barton Springs with his wife, son, and dogs in Austin, Texas.
